Elliptical seamless cold drawn steel pipe is a seamless steel pipe with an elliptical (or oblate) cross section, manufactured by cold drawing process, with high precision, high strength, excellent surface finish and good mechanical properties.

2. Main Features

3. Manufacturing process

Hot-rolled round tube billet→2. Pickling and rust removal→3. Cold drawing (die drawing)→4. Heat treatment (annealing/normalizing)→5. Finishing (straightening, cutting, testing)

Cold drawing: The round steel tube is drawn into an oval shape through a die to improve dimensional accuracy and surface quality.

Heat treatment: Eliminate cold working stress and improve toughness and mechanical properties.
